The Flowers for ZAP program helps us center inclusion and care for marginalized community members by reserving a limited number of free or discounted tickets, while inviting those with the means to donate. Your generosity directly ensures everyone can experience the magic of our festival, regardless of financial circumstances. We believe the vibrant dance and punk community should be accessible to all – especially those who bring valuable perspectives but might be tight on funds.

WHAT IS IT?

APPLICATION

background Beyond funding attendance, the initiative aims to spark a broader conversation in the dance music community about equity, care, and showing up for one another. It also shares a model that other queer and trans organizers can replicate elsewhere. Flowers for ZAP was founded in 2024 by ZAP director Joyce Lim, inspired by a similar program at the Honcho campout festival in Pennsylvania. This initiative enabled the festival to support 30 attendees with gifts totaling over $4,000 for services including sponsored admission, meal plans, camping supplies, and transportation.

Your support helps break down barriers and ensures that people of all backgrounds can experience the joy and connection of ZAP Outdoorz.
