Festival Info Summary
ZAP Outdoorz is rain or shine! The main stages are covered and we have shelter-in-place protocols for lightning or other hazardous weather. Please make sure when you are setting up your camp to think about inclement weather passing through. Do not camp in any valleys—try to take high or flat ground.
It is important to note that this is not car camping. You will park your car and then carry your load to where you will be staying for the weekend—be mindful of how much you bring.
We will have indoor bathroom and shower houses in addition to porta-potties. These will be clearly marked and designated on our site map that you will receive upon arrival. There will be plenty of places to get free water, please make sure to bring your own vessel. We will have a medic team on site 24/7, but please remember to be safe—we are not close to a hospital. This year we will have a dedicated space onsite for festival FAQs and harm-reduction called ZAPGPT.
The venue is a classic kids’ summer camp, complete with a pool, lake, tennis courts, basketball courts, scenic hiking trails, and more. Lifeguards will be on duty during designated swim times—swimming is not allowed when they’re not present. If you plan to enjoy the lake, you'll need to wear a life vest or be on a flotation device. We’ll have some available, but you’re welcome to bring your own. Lake access is strictly prohibited after dusk—and trust us, you don’t want to be down there at night…it’s spooky.
We will release the full programming schedule and site map to attendees as they arrive with their welcome information, along with posting digital versions online for you to download. We’ll also have art installations, yoga, wellness, programmed conversations, spontaneous pop up performances, & more exciting surprise activities along the way. Remember, music is practically non-stop, if you are sensitive to noise bring earplugs and ensure a camping spot further away from the stages.
Pack & Lodging
Your ticket includes on-site camping access, with designated areas available on a first-come, first-served basis—arrive early to secure a shaded, secluded spot! For camping newcomers, our festival is an awesome place to try it out. If camping couldn’t be further from your vibe, we offer group cabin or glamping add-ons. Group cabins (which must be purchased as a group) feature twin beds, power, showers, bathrooms, and lights. Alternatively, our convenient glamping tents accommodate 2, 4, or 6 people, each equipped with twin beds, power, and lighting, situated near shower and bathroom facilities. Rember to bring your own bedding + towels! It’s also recommend to bring items that may elevate the space, remember it’s a rustic kids summer camp!
Campers! Please make sure when you are setting up your camp to think about inclement weather passing through, do not camp in any valleys—try to take high or flat ground! Also, this is not car camping, so once you park you will have to carry your belongings to where you are resting your head for the weekend. Pack light.
If you haven’t been before, reach out to someone who has. We think it’s wise to learn from our community about best camping practices.

Eat & Drink
Whether you prefer to bring your own food or would rather not have to think about anything, there are plenty of ways to stay nourished.
ZAP to Table, our festival meal plan, is back and it's better than ever. This year will feature bigger portions and more variety, curated by some seriously experienced teams who know exactly how to bring iconic food to the music festival environment. Last year, we didn't quite hit the mark, so we've spent countless hours talking to all the right people. We are beyond excited to have two legendary food teams curate a world-class food program in the cafeteria.
Don't spend your festival hungry or waste time leaving the grounds for food—ZAP to Table has got you covered—morning and night!
ZAP to Table is the only full meal option on-site, serving up complete, satisfying dishes you'll actually look forward to. The brunch and dinner menus are crafted in collaboration with culinary talents La TropiKitchen and Dear Henry. Feeding people well at a small festival is no easy task. Our meal plan is how we make it work — keeping food waste as low as possible, providing meals to our staff, and ensuring every camper on site has the ability to eat well, no matter their dietary needs, all weekend long.
Meal Plan Overview $150 / Weekend for 5 Meals ($30/plate)
Brunch: 10am-2pm
Dinner: 5pm-9pm
Includes complimentary select beverages. Enjoy your meal in our welcoming communal dining space, perfect for connection and sharing good food. Option to take dishes to go, too! The meal plan is the best way to ensure tasty meals, minimal waste, and affordable pricing all weekend.
Meet the Chefs
LaTropiKitchen by Stephanie Bonnin
Colombian-born chef Stephanie Bonnin is the founder of LaTropiKitchen. In 2017, she and her husband Pablo launched the project by hosting intimate dinners for friends from their home in New York City. Stephanie worked in acclaimed kitchens before dedicating herself to exploring the migrant and ancestral food pathways of Colombia's tropical landscapes. Her work blends nostalgia for fellow migrants with bold, innovative expressions of Caribbean and Latin American flavors. In 2025, Stephanie was featured in The Maldon Salt 50 as one of the world's most boundary-pushing chefs. She now leads Studio Tropical NYC (home to Patio Tropical) in Brooklyn — a vibrant culinary studio and community space offering chef residencies, workshops, private events, and an ever-changing menu that captures the lively spirit of tropical "patio" culture.
Dear Henry by Renae Wilson
Renae Wilson is a Southern-born, Brooklyn-based culinary cook and storyteller with roots stretching from South Carolina to East Texas. A U.S. Navy veteran, she traded her uniform for an apron, using her GI Bill to study at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York. Renae's career is as rich and varied as her cooking — she's a published recipe developer, private chef, caterer, cookbook tester, and magazine test kitchen alum. Check out her latest published work with National Geographic, "American Soul" — a historical journey through Black people's contributions to food in the United States. "Dear Henry" is a Brooklyn-based pop-up serving as a love letter to Southern cooking. Sometimes it feels like Sunday dinner at grandma's. Sometimes it feels vibrant, fun, and fresh. Whether it be a modern take on a Southern classic, a Southeast regional dish, or a recipe found in the pages of a vintage church potluck cookbook, there's always the comfort of familiar soul food with a touch of whimsy.
Don’t want the meal plan? While we encourage purchasing a ZAP to Table pass for consistent, healthy meals throughout the weekend, you're welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. We will have some additional a-la-carte vendors throughout the weekendThe Lodge, also home to the ZAP Snack Shack, will offer complimentary access to electric kettles and microwaves for your convenience. Please keep food out of stage areas and avoid glass containers anywhere on site for everyone's safety.
Beverages Free water stations are located throughout the festival and are marked on your map. Bring a reusable bottle to stay hydrated! You can purchase non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages at designated bars and drink in designated areas. No outside alcohol is allowed.
Health & Safety
First aid stations are located near each stage, at ZAP GPT, and at the EMS. They are all marked on the map—take a moment to locate them after settling in.
The ZAP GPT area provides harm reduction resources via Celestial Spaces, free water, a space to decompress, and trained staff to assist anyone who needs support.
Community monitors, staff liaisons, and our security team patrol the grounds 24/7. We also have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or violence of any kind. In case of serious emergency, alert any staff member or security personnel immediately. Anyone with a radio can help you if you or someone else is in serious trouble.
We are on a campground with uneven terrain and some steep elevation changes. Unfortunately, this does mean that the areas are not ADA compliant, but we want to help if we can. Depending on availability we may be able to provide gator shuttles between major areas for those with mobility needs. Email us at least two weeks before the festival to arrange accommodations.
Environmental & Waste Policies
ZAP Outdoorz is committed to Leave No Trace principles. We aim to leave our venue cleaner than we found it and minimize our environmental impact.
We provide clearly marked stations for recycling and landfill waste throughout the grounds. Please sort your waste accordingly and clean up after yourselves. Help us take care of the land.
Respect for the site is essential to keeping this project going. We really need all attendees to help us maintain the natural beauty of the site. We have a Leave No Trace policy, and ample trash cans and garbage bags will be available. Do not leave any trash on the ground. Cigarettes must be disposed of in designated smoking sections located on the map. We want to keep working with this venue for a long time, please help us preserve this relationship and ease the burden on our exhausted strike crew.
Information Sharing On-Site
Occasionally set times, locations, or other camp related information may have to be changed during the event. If that happens, we will post updates on the community board at ZAP GPT (located on your map).
For non-emergencies, visit ZAP GPT. For emergencies, alert any staff member with a radio. You can also identify community monitors by their neon bracelets. Please help us look out for one another.
You can also join our Discord for real-time updates, camping tips, carpools, and more.
Code of Conduct
ZAP outdoorz depends on radical responsibility for ourselves and our friends. We expect everyone to remain respectful and look out for one another. Consent is mandatory for all interactions, including photography, physical contact, and joining others camps or conversations.
We have a zero tolerance policy for harassment, violence, or unsafe behavior of any kind.
No open flames, generators, glass containers, weapons, or drones. We also do not allow outside alcohol as this project depends on food and beverage sales.
Please minimize your phone usage on the dance floor so as not to disturb everyone’s experience.
